This is Rajyalakshmi. This is Her Story…
Rajyalakshmi is born into a Hindu family. Her family lives in Eluru city in the State of Andhra Pradesh, India; in slums where thousands are living in very poor conditions. Her father is a truck driver and suffers from Tuberculosis. Because of his health, he is unable to work and provide for the family. He is also unable to receive any treatment for his condition simply because he has no money to pay for any medicine.
Her mother is uneducated and earns very little to support the family and the family do not even having enough for meals. Therefore her parents requested for her admission to ChampionKids’ Home and School in Hanuman Junction.
Rajyalakshmi has another younger sister who stays together with her in ChampionKids’ Home and School receiving a Christian based English education. Rajyalakshmi and her sister needs all the help she can get for a bright future.
She is thankful that at ChampionKids’ Home, she and her sister can have an opportunity to study.
